    Refine

To honor the lotus’s iconic form, our floral artisans refine each bloom’s shape, completing its transformation into a one-of-a-kind PADMĒ Lotus.

We work with customers to make sure our lotuses are delivered and placed with intention, creating impactful decor.

Care & Conditions

Sunlight

PADMĒ Lotuses are undyed: the pink you see comes from the natural anthocyanins originally present in the flower! Anthocyanins are not lightfast, so the more direct UV the lotus experiences, the faster it will fade.

Keep your PADMĒ Lotus out of direct sunlight to slow fading.

  • PADMĒ Lotuses last 1 day outdoors in extreme UV light.
  • PADMĒ Lotuses last up to 4 weeks indoors in low UV light.

Water

PADMĒ Lotuses are water-resistant, but not waterproof! As soon as it is cut, the lotus flower loses the ability to take up water, unlike other types of flowers. PADMĒ Lotuses are stabilized and no longer need water.

Do not place your PADMĒ Lotus in direct, prolonged contact with water.

  • PADMĒ Lotuses can easily handle a fine misting of water.
  • PADMĒ Lotuses will collapse under heavy rain or if placed directly on or under water.

Humidity & Temperature

PADMĒ Lotuses are suited to any humidity or temperature. In hot, humid environments they will feel silky, but may droop slightly above roughly 80% relative humidity (RH). In dry, cold environments they will be strong, but may feel dry below roughly 20% RH.

Storage

Store PADMĒ Lotuses in their original packaging in a dark, dry space for up to 1 month before use.

Care

Treat your PADMĒ Lotuses gently to extend their lifespan. Always hold lotuses cupped from underneath or by pinching the stem. Petals may rip or deform under direct pressure. Keep lotuses out of direct sun and direct contact with water.

Lifecycle

PADMĒ Lotuses are real flowers. Over time, they will eventually brown and wilt like any other flower. This process is called oxidation. When your lotus has wilted, thank it for its service and gently dispose of it.

Safety

PADMĒ Lotuses are stabilized with all non-toxic, cosmetic-grade ingredients. That being said, they are not safe for consumption.

In our experience, children and animals show no interest in eating a lotus, but to be on the safe side, keep your lotuses out of reach of children and animals.
